Lawabien Osée Joyce Toé

Osée is a PhD student specializing in ticks and emerging vector-borne diseases. He conducts his research at Centre Muraz and Institut de Recherche en Sciences de la Santé (IRSS), where he focuses on a One Health approach to tick species diversity, tick-borne diseases, acaricide resistance, and tick dispersal by birds. He has a background in molecular biology and bioinformatics, with experience in mosquito biology and genetic control of mosquitoes using CRISPR/Cas9. His work aims to strengthen vector-borne disease surveillance and bridge the gap between research, fieldwork, and public health.
