Amy Delicia Akineza

My name is AKINEZA AMY DELICIA, I’m a medical student at University of Burundi currently in my last year. I joined the RSTMH driven by my interest in improving public health in tropical countries such as Burundi, where tropical diseases remain a major concern. I’m interested in medical research and volunteering. I have my research interest in antimicrobial resistance, sexual and reproductive health and tropical diseases. I’ve always believed that sharing knowledge and connecting people to the right resources can make a real difference. I am eager to help my fellow students learn more about tropical medicine and connect them with the opportunities RSTMH offers.
