Clinton Sekyere Frempong
Clinton Sekyere Frempong is a public health researcher and doctoral student at the University of Ghana School of Public Health. His work focuses on the intersection of climate change, infectious diseases, and mental health, with a particular interest in vulnerable populations in sub-Saharan Africa.
He has over five years of experience in quantitative and qualitative research and has contributed to 10 peer-reviewed publications. Clinton is a 2025 Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene Early Career Research Grant awardee and is actively involved in multicountry research exploring climate-related health risks among women and young people.
He is passionate about strengthening research capacity and supporting early-career researchers, and is committed to promoting equitable and climate-resilient health systems. Outside of research, he enjoys mentoring students and supporting young researchers to grow in global health.
