Dr Anthony Mwinilanaa Tampah-Naah
Anthony Mwinilanaa Tampah-Naah has a PhD and MPhil in Population and Health from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. He also holds professional certifications in Monitoring and Evaluation in Global Health, and Epidemiology in Global Health from the University of Washington, USA, as well as a certification in Implementation Research (IR) with a focus on Infectious Diseases of Poverty (IDP) from the University of Ghana, School of Public Health. He is experienced in both quantitative and qualitative research designs.
Currently, Anthony is a Senior Faculty Member with the Department of Geography, Faculty of Social Science and Arts at the University of Business and Integrated Development Studies in Ghana. He has administrative experience at the department and faculty levels. With over a decade of professional experience, Anthony has focused on population and health scholarship in academia. His consultancy, research, and publications cover diverse themes, including population health disparities, food and nutrition security, maternal and child health, and reproductive health and family planning. He has published in academic journals and presented scientific papers in both international and local conferences.
Beyond academia, he is engaged in entrepreneurial initiatives in agro‑processing and social impact, reflecting his commitment to community development and applied research. Anthony brings to the editorial role a rigorous analytical orientation, a deep understanding of contextual research in low‑ and middle‑income settings, and a strong commitment to advancing high‑quality scholarship.
