Dr Giri Rajahram

Dr Giri Rajahram is an Infectious Diseases Consultant and a Global Health practitioner with the Ministry of Health Malaysia. He practices in Sabah, Borneo, and is responsible for working with various stakeholders to improve the health outcomes of indigenous and often marginalised communities in the state. Besides his clinical duties, he also guides policy, and provides technical expertise, while communicating and implementing health policies alongside stakeholders both locally and internationally. Dr Rajahram collaborates with local and global partners to address epidemiological, clinical characterisation, and the management of infectious and emerging infectious diseases of interest regionally. He completed an MSc in International Health and Tropical Medicine at the University of Oxford, and is currently also an adjunct Associate Professor at Monash University Malaysia.
