Dr Vinay Bharadwaj Tatipamula

Vinay Bharadwaj Tatipamula is a pharmaceutical scientist and academic with research experience in antimicrobial drug discovery, pharmacology, analytical chemistry, and pharmacokinetics. He earned his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Andhra University, India, and currently serves as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics at the University of Liverpool, UK. His research focuses on anti-tuberculosis drug screening, cytotoxicity profiling, LC-MS/MS method development for HIV and COVID-19 therapeutics, and in vivo pharmacological evaluations within GCP laboratory frameworks. Previously, he worked at Duy Tan University in Vietnam, investigating bioactive secondary metabolites through advanced chromatographic and spectroscopic analyses. He has authored over 70 peer-reviewed publications, 50+ patents, and several book chapters, and has received notable distinctions including the Global Talent Visa (UK) and the Sri J. J. Rao Gold Medal for his best doctoral research. He serves on the editorial boards of various international journals and is an active member of professional bodies such as the Royal Society of Chemistry (UK), the SCIEX Innovation Advisory Board (USA), and the Asian Phytopathological Society (Egypt). His current research interests include tropical infectious diseases, drug resistance, natural product pharmacology, and the integration of One Health principles in drug discovery.
