NTD Modelling Consortium and RSTMH Webinar: Modelling the impact of COVID-19 interruptions on NTD programmes
Thursday 2 September 2021

In December 2020, we ran our first webinar, which examined modelling predictions to evaluate the potential impact of COVID-19-related interruptions on seven neglected tropical disease (NTD) programmes.
This webinar looked at NTD programmes in African countries to explore how they had been affected and how they had adjusted to respond to the pandemic.
It also discussed opportunities for how modelling could best support these programmes.
Speakers
Deirdre Hollingsworth, leader of the NTD Modelling Consortium, led our panellists in a discussion including a Q&A session with the audience.
- Pauline Mwinzi, Technical Officer, SCH/STH, Expanded Special Project for Elimination of Neglected Tropical Diseases, WHO Regional Office for Africa
