Philip Ashton
Philip Ashton is a bioinformatician interested in applying genomics to improve public health in countries with a high burden of infectious diseases. He has worked at Public Health England, Oxford University Clinical Research Unit in Vietnam, and Malawi-Liverpool-Wellcome Programme in Blantyre. He has published more than 50 papers on Salmonella, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and Cryptococcus neoformans.
