Mohit Bhatia

Dr Mohit Bhatia is a medical professional who specializes in Clinical Microbiology. He completed MBBS from Vijayanagar Institute of Medical Sciences, Bellary, Karnataka, India in 2008 followed by which, he pursued MD in Clinical Microbiology (2010-2013) from ESIC Medical College & Post Graduate Institute of Medical Science and Research, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. He secured First rank in MD Final examination conducted by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India in May 2013. He was awarded Post Graduate Certificate in Infectious Diseases with distinction by the prestigious London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, UK and Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene by Royal College of Physicians, UK in 2017 and 2019 respectively.

Dr Bhatia has worked in government aided institutes like Govind Ballabh Pant Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research and Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, New Delhi, India, as a Senior Resident doctor in Clinical Microbiology and Virology respectively. Currently, he is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh, India. His areas of research include antimicrobial resistance, zoonotic infections, particularly leptospirosis, hospital infection control and clinical & diagnostic virology.
