RSTMH In Conversation with Dr Luis Pizarro
As part of our new Strategy, RSTMH would like to further improve the skills, experience, and networks of our members and Fellows as well as utilise our profile and networks to promote and convene more multi-disciplinary discussions and activities. To support this RSTMH is launching a new online event series titled 'RSTMH In conversation' where we will bring together leading experts and influential individuals in global health and tropical medicine.
This webinar will give attendees the opportunity to hear from Dr Luis Pizarro who has led the Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi) since September 2022. He also serves as founder and member of the Global Health 2030 think tank, as scientific advisor for Global Health at Sciences Po Paris, and as board member of Sidaction. He will be interviewed by RSTMH Trustee Professor Gail Davey. The conversation will cover topics such as leadership, the future of global health, career progression, and advice. There will opportunities for attendees to ask Dr Luis Pizarro questions at the end of the discussion.
This webinar will take place on Tuesday 23 July at 12 - 1pm BST and is free for all attendees.
