My late father told me of Her Majesty first visit to Nigeria in 1956 with a lot of excitement, the historic visit was documented in a photo book he gave me and I kept till today. I myself witnessed her second visit to Nigeria in 2003 with excitement. Growing up as a scientist I know and appreciate the role Queen Elisabeth II played for human development and a better world. Those legacies remain indelible in our mind and spirit. "
