RSTMH Webinar: How to Get Published

RSTMH hosted an online guidance session on scientific publishing.

This webinar, led by the RSTMH Managing Editor Tom Pinfield, included contributions from editorial team members from both RSTMH journals, Transactions of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, and International Health. 

This was an opportunity to hear from experts about how to avoid common mistakes in the publishing process, how to avoid unnecessary delays, how to increase the likelihood of your work going on to be accepted, and how to effectively promote your work once it is published.

The session covered the following topics:

• Deciding what to publish and choosing the right journal
• Writing your paper and preparing your manuscript
• The peer review process
• Promoting your research
